I. Opening

II. Treasurer's Report
The lodge currently has around $8,000 dollars in it's account. We are spending $1,400 to buy supplies from National. Our net gain this year is around $550.

III. Secretary's Report
The newsletter is in the works, and hopefully will be out by April 30th. The plan booklet is nearing completion. The only thing left is the layout.

IV. Elections
Cabrosha Chapter: 12 elections completed,
Miwok: 1 done, 5 scheduled.
Akela Festival coming up
The ordeal master for the Cabrosha Chapter spring ordeal is Tristan Benson. At the time, there were no known work projects.

Mow-a-Toc Chapter
3 elections done
Scout-a-Rama coming up
Ordeal master for spring ordeal: Scott Alto.

Council Camporee: October 10-12. The council's goal is to have around 1000 people in attendance. Any arrowman is welcome to serve on staff.

The executive board discussed the decline in new members. It was eventually traced back to a decline in Cub Scouts, leading to a smaller pool of eligible candidates.

V. Misc.
Plan Book - Data entered, needs to be reformatted.

Where to go Camping Book - the lodge's goal is to have it ready for elections, and for the ordeals. The plan is to put it on a CD as a PDF file.

Webpage - Council page needs updates. Orca Lodge page is in fine working order.

Discs of Cub Scout camp promotion were passed out to anyone interested. They are advertising Camp Navaro, but aimed at Cubs/Webelos.

Changes were made to the budget at the past meeting, including increasing the cost of ordeals for members, and fixing an error involving the cost of handbooks.

The lodge dinner will be held on November 15, and is being hosted by Cabrosha Chapter. Several locations were discussed for a location, including the Washoe House in Santa Rosa, the Veteran's Center in Petaluma, St. Luke's in Santa Rosa, and the Villa Chanta Claire in Healdsburg. The Washoe House was discarded as a choice because of the small dining room. The Committee voted to try and get the Villa Shanta Claire. The cost would be good: The room might be free, the cooks would be volunteers from the Knights of Columbus; the only thing we would have to pay for is the food. The lodge would also be responsible for the cleanup.

10th Anniversary Patch - The lodge is still seeking designs for the 10th Anniversary patch. An add will be placed in the newsletter. The options discussed were to do it as a Bullion, or a heavy duty patch. The other option is a regular patch. The lodge will vote in July which design to use, and which style of patch.

NOAC 2004
The idea of a triple-set for NOAC 2004 was proposed. The complete set would be a fundraiser set, a contingent patch, and a trader. The Executive Committee voted to issue 3 fundraiser patches for the upcoming NOAC. The patches will be the design by Daniel Washburn. There was discussion about using a mylar border, but this was vetoed by the patch maker. 500 patches total will be ordered. 100 will have a blue border; 200, red; 200, green. The red and green borders will sell for $5 each. The blue is only available with the complete set, which sells for $25. The youth voted a limit of 2 sets per person, until after the Lodge Fellowship in August. The lodge will vote in July on the contingent patch; the current idea is the same design as the fundraiser, but with a different border, possibly gold.
NOAC promotion will be starting in the latest issue of the Orca Spouts. The lodge wants a $50 deposit for anyone attending. The total price is estimated at $750, though much of this will be defrayed by the fundraiser patches.

CD labeler/engraver: Aaron Landwehr had the idea for a combined CD burner/labeler. The labeling is a 'tattoo', burned onto the back of the CD. The lodge voted this down, citing expense and a lack of usefulness. Jason Yarnall was volunteered to make the CD labels.

Lodge T-Shirts. The debate continues. Bruce Mayfield suggested Sonoma Apparel as the way to go. They make the T-shirts for the section, and have the OA logo already. The benefits of going through Sonoma Apparel: all the ordering is done online, they handle the inventory, and they send the lodge a check of our share of the profits at the end of the month. An article advertising for designs will be placed in the newsletter. Possible designs will be discussed at the July board meeting, where the vote will take place on whether or not we will get the T-Shirts.

Elangomats: the lodge is trying to start the Elangomat program at the ordeals. The requirements decided on:
1. A 1-year commitment to the candidates, until they reach Brotherhood.
2. Must be completely independent during the ordeal.
An article will be placed in the newsletter, advertising for anyone interested.
